Scandinavia is a miraculous legend land attracting you by its candid northern romantics. Fair faces, open blue look, Swedes are very light people , light in its two meanings: “shine” and “easy.” Those who say Swedes are too serious and closed have no clue how hospitable to strangers they can be. We hitchhiked from Stockholm to Oslo and met wonderful people from all of Sweden. Anders, tall blond Swed going in for tango, Vietnamese woman from Eskilstuna, a man planning rural party with a big hay fire, owner of red Volkswagen with Volvo diesel and black dog Nielas, nice English teacher Brigit… We miss all of you. Great land, great people
We saw two different Oslo cities – in night and in sunlight. Taste both and meet sunrise in Oslo harbor with a pink rainbow over the sky and fjords.
Bergen is a place I want to stay for a long time. So homely and cozy town is a gate to fjords, maps say… For me it is a town from a snow tale. Tiled roofs and cobble street with wooden houses and cute cats, hospitable owners of Magdalena cafe and warm summer night… good bye, little Bergen
